High Ropes
Our
high ropes course is the newest in Queensland and is checked every
couple of months for your safety. Maranatha provides all safety
equipment needed for you to do the course so all you need to do is turn
up.
Below are photos of a few of the different elements in our high ropes course.
 |
Mini fox
This is the first section of our high ropes course. You get to
hook yourself onto the carriage and when you are on and ready your
group will pull you across to the other side from the ground.
Another member of your group will be waiting at the other side to help
you on the platform. |
 |
Uneven wires and log walk
Following the mini fox is the uneven wires. This apparatus
consists of a sturdy wire to stand on and a looser one to hold on to.
The log is the easiest of all the sections because it provides a sturdy base for you to walk on. |
 |
Platforms
Don’t worry if you get a bit tired, there are plenty of platforms
around the course for you to rest on. If you feel like getting
close to nature, our trees love getting big hugs from all our climbers. |
 |
Cargo net
The cargo net is the most strenuous of all our sections. This is a fantastic challenge and heaps of fun! |
 |
Tyres
The best way to attack the tyres is to stand in the first one
then throw your leg over the second so you can stand on the
top. Once you are on the top you can bound from tyre to
tyre to the next platform. |
 |
Postmans walk
This section requires you to splay your feet and walk like charlie chapman to keep your centre of balance. |
