CLEANING Maranatha Recreation Camp is to be left clean, tidy and free of rubbish, as per “End of Camp Clean Up” in Camper’s Duties
Keep thinking about how to reduce unecessary use of power and water. We have made many changes to the systems but how we use them is still important. Thanks for helping us to keep Maranatha a safe, clean and beautiful environment for everyone.
Camp Rules
We want all our campers to have a safe and adventurous experience at Maranatha. Here's the list of rules.
• Be excellent to each other!
• No smoking anywhere
• Take care with the plants and animals
• Keep shoes on everywhere
• We have septic toilet systems - so don't put anything in them that shouldn't be there
• No unauthorised graffiti - lest we charge you for the cleaning thereof
• Fire extinguishers, hoses and alarms - it is illegal, costly and dangerous for you to tamper with any of them
• Please leave all the chairs inside - not out around the grounds, thanks
• The evacuation plan and safety signs in all the rooms are required by law to be there - leave them there
• Pre-arrange the use of the campfire with management - we will supply some wood for you and inform you of any restrictions and safety requirements
• Schools - stop all your noise by 10:00pm and turn off the lights by 10:30pm
• Amplified music - by law only between 9:00am and 10:00pm, however get permission from management first, we hold discretionary rights
• We will continue to provide quality sports gear, safety equipment, AV equipment, furniture etc. Help us to keep it in good condition. Or you can buy us some new stuff. Deal?
